No, that one is an ABS sample. I will be making up the mold for it today.

Rob - I hope you realize that you will be guilty of causing the mass retirement of my (modest) HP passenger car fleet :naughty:

The HP passenger cars aren't all that bad aside from the plain trucks.

I'm thinking these will be around $25 each, assuming I get enough orders. For the complete set of 10 cars for the Super Chief it looks like I will have around $300 in silicone for the molds. Plus around $100 for the ABS to make the masters.

Are these appropriate for the John Harmon smoothside UP passenger cars (they badly need better looking trucks)?

Pretty close. A quick look around Brasstrains.com shows most look they use something like the GSC 41-CUDO which has an extra set of springs in the center. If you want I can make up a mold for them.

I don't know where to use Rob's trucks and where Kemtron trucks?
Which trucks would be better for Pennsy P85H (and similar)?

Not sure what the Kemtrons look like but according to the eBay listing below for a PRR Congressional car, mine look like they would be pretty close. It is hard to find decent close-up photos of trucks on actual cars :wall: And then if you do the differences between some truck models is pretty miniscule, especially at TT scale.

We need someone to do a research thread on passenger trucks (Marquette, hint, hint)
