think that's it. I think the SOU ones all match rob's car, with the exception of doors which it appears could vary.

i believe family lines versions had two different varieties of 'waffling'. some like the SOU version, with the exception of having an extra waffle down low on the panel nearest the door, where the SOU versions are missing one.

and a second version with with fewer rows of waffles, more widely spaced.

there was something about a door opening mechanism which SOU equipped some cars with, and which tended to get damaged. that might be something to do with the wheel on the side of this car?

someone once told me modern boxcars were 'easier' than steam era ones when it came to variations. if I see that guy again, you know i might just punch him. :lol:

But note he didn't say that they are easy in the first place... just 'easier than steam era'... which isn't hard to do! :D
