Polish Steam

Polish steam trains still in daily service today and a 4 part series of some steam running on lines that have been more recently closed.

There is a rail company in Poland that does some hardcore railfan stuff, namely there is a program that allows guests to run some of their steam locomotives on mainline operations, with close supervision, of course.

There was an extensive article on that in an issue of Railfan and Railroad a year or so back, and is the same issue that Jim Boyd, one of their editors signed for me when I was at Steamtown last time.
