Ah, if you are talking about electric samovar, it must work without any problem, the same way as the electric kettle.
The electric heater coil must be fixed inside it.

Some afterthoughts about stereotypes:

What?! German?! Pacifist??!! Impossible!!!

Pacifism is very popular in Germany.
Concerning the huge number of draft resisters (before the suspension of liability to military service), the even larger disaffirmation of foreign deployments of German troops and the popularity of the efforts to a general abolishment of conscription, I'ld even dare to claim that pacifism is typically German nowadays.

Germany:
…, Shitty Food

This makes me curious.
Several times I've heard that in America Bavaria dominates Germany's image. But Bavaria is not equal to Germany!
Most Bavarians have a more conservative and more separatist mindset than most other Germans. Also in many other respects (food for instance) Bavaria differs more from the rest of Germany than any other German region (and even some neighboring countries).
So I'ld very like to know what Americans consider as "typical German food". :?: :?: :?:

Yeah, I needed a beer.

I thought that you wanted to quit drinking, to the point where you turned down beers at the 2013 NTS.
