There's a couple of questions which I have about these models.
  • How many versions of M62 does Peresvet offer?
  • Are there also versions without buffers?
  • Are there versions of double and tripple units?
  • Are there versions with the more modern trucks (also used by ТЭ109)?
  • Is it possible to use Kadee couplers?
  • Most Russian diesel locomotives have a device covering their side radiator grilles (as visible on the models shown, too). What's the pourpose of those devices?

As I know, "double" version 2M62 is available:

Kadee couplers are possible, but only with a LOT of work, as the couplers on the Peresvet M62 are connected to the trucks via a metal bar on the under side of the coupler.

Four.
- green-colored one-unit
- red-colored one-unit
- green-colored double-unit for soviet railways.
- green-colored double-unit for russian railways.
The two last versions are differ only logos and inscriptions.

No. But it is not difficult to remove buffers and to putty holes.

No, there is only one version of trucks.

It is not easy to use Kadee with M62, but nothing is impossible:)

These are protective cases to protect radiator shutters against freezing. These are uses only in parts of country with cold winter.
