Pennsylvania Railroad - The Congressional on Shapeways

Pennsylvania Railroad - The Congressional on Shapeways

I have noticed an N-scale set of cars for The Congressional. I have asked the designer for rescaling it to TT and provided him with some info about the consist. He agreed and the individual cars as well as the whole train can be ordered from Shapeways.
(not tested yet)
Many thanks to Luis!

The 1953 consist of Morning Congressional was
(deadhead) P85H
4 units P85H
D85ed Coffee Shop Tavern
2 units P85H
D85c Dining Room (twin unit)
DL85d Kitchen-Bar-Lounge (twin unit)
PP85a Parlor 7 Drawing Rooms - Telephone
2 units PP85 Parlor 29-Chair - 1 Drawing Room
POC85 Parlor Observation-Bar-Lounge

I'll make decals for this train.
The engine for this train can be made out of Lionel's GG1, it needs a new tuscan red paint. Silver GG1 can be used for 1955+ version.
Most of the cars can be used also for The Senator. Only the diner has to be replaced, the Senator had D85ad instead of the twin unit.
