NYC Pizza and Beer Train

This is a very interesting read. Having lived in NYC for 21 years taking their subways to school, work, ball and hockey games and concerts, living close to the New Haven Line or my grandparents near the Penn Central Line (both in the Bronx) and later moving 100 miles to the east (living between the Port Jefferson and Ronkonkoma Lines) taking the LIRR to sporting events and lots of concerts for the next 27 years I don't remember ever seeing a freight train.

Interesting. Will have to do some googling now. Might be the perfect railroad for modeling on a small but busy layout.

That is really interesting, that freight rail is making such a resurgence in areas like NYC.

Seen these trains a few times when making deliveries into Brooklyn and Long Island. Strangest sight to see a train rolling down a busy Brooklyn street.
