This is really great news! There is indeed a big need for North American prototype structures since right now, almost nothing is available. I would take industrial building of many kinds, preferrably brick structures, and interlocking towers. I'm also very interested in half relief brick structures [warehouses, factories, back sides of appartment buildings, etc.] that can be used for making realistic backgrounds for layouts and dioramas.

Got the first kit designed and done. It's a generic Packing house but can of course be used for just about anything. It's a multi media kit with MDF laser cut sides with tab/slot assembly, laser cut window frames that pop in from the front and resin cast details including the water tank, ac units and front steps. I have a few more detail parts, but wanted to show it so far. I will have this ready by the middle or end of this week. Price should be in the $45.00 range and I have a pay pal account to make things easy. I will also have a couple of pre printed signs that can be attached to the front for a couple of different businesses. Roll up doors and window frames are cut from metallic card stock and everything is peel and stick. There are a few strips of styrene added for wall trim, framework and wood bumpers under the doors (not added yet) I'll have a complete model by tomorrow to show off.

That looks great!

I'm jealous of the square inside corners. Can't do that with my cnc router :wall:

Joe, please tell us when the kits will be available.

This building looks good, but it is 280 mm long - not too small...

Joe,

Can you already roughly say when the first kits will be available?

Morning,

I have the crew quarters done, just waiting on packaging, and the Packing house is finished too. I will announce this weekend and start taking orders. The Packing house will be cut to order given the size and materials.

Cheers

Just had a random thought re: the packing house - like your pallets, perhaps could make packing crates (or perhaps small stacks of them) and those boxes used for harvesting the citrus fruits and taking them to the packer? Thought those could make for some interesting details for use around a packing house loading dock...
