New diorama photo scene

New diorama photo scene

Postby jpachl » Sun Oct 08, 2017 3:08 pm

I recently witnessed the arson-caused burning down of a building in the South East of Brandenburg state, Germany. Having taking some pictures of the ruin, I got the idea to use one of the photos as a background for a temporary photo diorama scene. To celebrate my newly aquired AT-T crawler tractor, which I just bought last week on the modell-hobby-spiel fair in Leipzig, I moved the fictitious scene to Russia. See the story in the caption on the Flickr page:

Joern, it looks great  , but the Czech militia's car looks not on its place on the Russian layout :wtf:

...but you can correct it by small repainting job.
Just repaint the white strip in red. The dark blue painting with red strip was used by Soviet militia (police) in 1950s and 1960s.

Drastic decision! :)

But, BTW, you can can point out the era of your scene this way.
If you use the yellow-and-blue milicia car, then it's the 1970s.
If you use the blue-and-red caar, then it''s the 1960s
