The original idea was a switch motor for a club. Then they asked if someone would be interested in buying those. E.g. this was developed for a limited quantity. Large quantity may need a different manufacturing approach, possibly either outsourcing of the manufacturing or investment in a new manufacturing facility (or even a little factory).

The MTB is definitively the best switchmotor today on the market. Its construction and size are exceptional. I have already 20 on my layout ( together with other ones incl. servos, and I am happy that MTB arrived in time....).
