Here is my own construction to sand scale lumber to exact sizes.
On the picture the are 10-16 layers of thin veneer ( app. 0.7mm thick) sanded to 1.7 -2.5 mm width for my structures. On the ends they are glued together. Depending on what kind of glue is used, after sanding you can dissolve the glue, or simple cut off the 5-10 mm glued part of lumber.

Ingenious method of making your own sized wood. :thumbup: As they say "necessity is the mother of invention"
