My vote for the most impressive locomotive in TT scale is the HP Products 4-6-6-4 Challenger.
Course Set, Speed - Maximum Warp, PUNCH IT!

@Arseny: is this TT-scale? No matter of which scale :thumbup:

The most impressive, buy- or doable locomotives in TT scale are (in alphabetical order):

  • Alco FA-FB-FB-FA or similar EMD-consist (set)
  • Big Boy
  • DDA40X
  • GTEL with tender
  • S-2 Turbine
  • U50 (8-axle)

That looks like it was made from a pair of BTTB 0-8-0s, but the result looks good!

HP Products 4-8-8-4 Big Boy is even more impressive than the Challenger, but I have not assembled it yet for a nice picture.
