I saw their Ted talk earlier this year. Pretty cool technology obviously but I didn't realize the fidelity it can deliver. WOW!

Is there a site like shapeways for this clip technology? Any TT stuff made from it yet? .....DaveB

The tech is relatively new. I don't know of it being commercially available yet.

Yep, nothing on the market yet. Last I heard was the goal of first machines being available something in late 2016. They did get a huge capital injection from google ventures in the tune of $100 million so they have some serious financial backing.

seems great, I mean faster and great quality on details :p, but the print area is a little small hehe :D

I really don't need a Carbon Fiber model. I'm not going to shoot at it. :lol:

I see the Standard model goes for $5500 and the Professional for $8800. I don't like the fact that the Standard needs to be connected to the Cloud. So you always need an internet connection to run it. At least the Professional has local software storage. Looks like it would work with any 3D CAD free software package that outputs in a STL file.

Still not ready to own one of those yet, 3D printer that is.
