Very nice! I like the scenery variations from basic "grass" carpeting to very detailed scenes, all nicely fitting together.

Now THATS an idea!

I was thinking about using my 2-8-0 with 3 flats and a depressed flat car. I can put my Patton tank onthe depressed car and the troop carrier ans 2 jeeps on flat cars. I need to build another flat and put military type shipping crates on it. Maybe add a passenger car for trrps???

And some one else could do the Von Ryan Express!

Very nice! Perhaps I will have to build a larger module and worry about the shipping later.

Do you mean S160 steam loco? Like this ?

If so, you can use it as American or Soviet loco. It is Russian Ша loco.
(by the way, if somebody will produce this loco in TT, it can also be sold in Russia as Ша. And in Europe too.)

If you use 2-8-0 loco as a Soviet Ша, you can use it with russian wagons, such as military medical train from Peresvet:

I can put my Patton tank on the depressed car

There will be a small historical discrepancy. :)

The M46 Patton I was in service from 1949 to the mid 1950s.
M47 Patton II - after 1951
M48 Patton III - after 1952

But all the american S160 locos that were used in Germany, were sold to Hungary in 1947.

I think it's better to use Sherman tank. ;)

There are some military vehicles available at Hobby-Shop.cz. Here is the link to the specific page: http://www.hobby-shop.cz/sh/hled2.php?j ... 7&change=1. I have ordered a tank and a jeep kit (and some other vehicles) and find them to be very nice. Attached are photos of the military kits and a close up of the jeep. I have not assembled any yet but it doesn't look to tough.
