Here is Naples Street operating to capacity, showing all the stock I have. That is, until the next order from Zeuke arrives...

Having recently relocated from York to Northampton here in the UK, I am trying to find new show venues for Naples Street. The distance difference is 150 miles, which I daresay is probably nothing to you TTers is the US, but I don't travel well and ideally like to limit my journeys to an hour.

The bad news is that a) I have had to turn down one or two bookings that are now too far away and b) the TT show near Derby that I was going to attend next March has been cancelled.

The good news is that a) I'm booked into a 2-day show in nearby Milton Keynes in February and b) there are lots of potential show venues within my 1-hour range, so good prospects for the future to show off American TT.

Having said which, I haven't yet set up and tested Naples Street since the house move. Even then it will have to be stored in a cold (but dry) garage until we get a conversion done, hopefully next year. The temperature in there shouldn't drop to below 4 or 5 deg C over the winter so hopefully all will be well.

In addition to the February show in Milton Keynes, Naples Street will also be appearing at a one-day show in Olney, Bucks. on 7 September next.
Having had chance to set it up again and test it since the house more, I was amazed that everything worked straight off. Not that there's much to go wrong with a layout this small, but still. The only casualty was the Mack truck which came loose and had to be stuck down again.
Meanwhile, quotes for converting part of the cold garage to a nice warm hobby room are in progress...

A few more shots of Naples Street, some showing the new Zeuke hopper and a Lok-n-Roll 50ft boxcar with rather dodgy home-made 'patching' decals. Must redo those some day. Having said which they don't look quite that bad actual size.
You can tell the automobile is basic quality Shapeways but again, not too bad actual size.

A few more shots, including one of the garage with the layout to the right covered with the green cloth. Hopefully soon half of it will become a nice hobby room/study. I may even start planning a bigger layout. Wonder what scale I should do it in? :problem:

Nice job on the 50ft car. I miss the two vertical rods in front of the plug door.
