Micro Metakit

Hey, do any of you collect Micro Metakits? Yes, yes, HO, very bad. However; TT just hasn't reached that level of super high quality offers (except for some very small lots of german stuff) and it would be nice to have some collector level models. I have a soft spot for Czech steam and they are rolling out quite the program of locomotives in the next few years. Anyway, just curious about the Metakit scene.

I heard some interesting news. Don't know if anyone here knows too much about Modellbahnmanufaktur-Crottendorf, but they produce metal detail parts and locomotives in HO and TT. They tend to be expensive. For a long time they have had two Czech steamers posted under their listings (475.1: http://www.modellbahnmanufaktur-crotten ... 1-csd.html and 477.0 http://www.modellbahnmanufaktur-crotten ... 0-csd.html), however; they have never gone into production. What I heard was that they do not have the money to move forward with these projects and might be doing them with Micro-Metakit. There may be some truth to this as a 475.1 is listed as "soon in production" here: http://www.microfeinmechanik.de/index.p ... 87&lok=633 (Feinmechanik makes super exclusive Metakit items). Probably a long shot, but wouldn't it be nice if they partnered on some TT?...

By the way, MMC's TT stuff: http://www.modellbahnmanufaktur-crotten ... iv/tt.html.
