Looks amazing!

It's the tiny details like that that always seem to make the scene.

That's amazing! How did you make the dandelions, what was your technique?

You'll need some medium course green ground foam flocking and some yellow fine. I used Woodland Scenics medium green and Scenic Express aspen yellow respectively. Once the static grass has set, I take some of the green a sprinkle it on top and then work it in with my finger so it is between the blades, not just sitting on top. Sometimes I like to blow on it or poke it with a stick. Don't worry about the grass, once the glue dries it’s strong, like the bristles of a toothbrush. Then I do the same with the yellow. Spray or flow some matt medium on top to hold it. Remember you can always add more, taking away is harder.

There is another nice weed effect you can get. Before the static grass is applied, sprinkle some ground foam down first and then grass over top. This makes some nice textural variation and weedy undergrowth for untamed spaces.

Getting realistic variations in the static grasss is the real trick.

Starting some civil works now. The house, which will be completely repainted and have interior lighting in one or two of the rooms, uses an Auhagen city house kit as a donor; the underpass is scratch built with an Auhagen cobblestone sheet.

I like the walls of the underpass. They look legit!

That is one of my secrets, but if you can guess, I'll tell. You're going to be so surprised.

The underpass is done and only requires installation. I put some dirt in place while it was still on the work bench as getting it into place on the layout would have been rather difficult. It will be blended with the surrounding scenery.
