Lok-N-Roll motor brushes

Lok-N-Roll motor brushes

Postby AstroGoat760 » Mon Oct 23, 2017 2:50 pm

During preparation for the Fall 2017 Charleston Area Model Train Show, I have been working on my GP38-2. This morning the engine ran for a few feet, and then stalled out, and would not move again, so I took the engine apart, only to find that one of the brushes had come apart.

Does anyone know of a source of motor brushes or at least a replacement motor that will fit the Lok-N-Roll GP38-2 chassis?

Not yet, the problem just happened a few hours ago, and by diagnosis of the brush issue was within the last hour.
I figured that it might be faster this way.
