What's the best way to go about changing the number(s) on a Chessie GP9 shell (I have two and don't want the same number)?

Check the Microscale HO Chessie caboose set.

Sometimes cabooses have smaller lettering and numbers than locos.

It's an unusual looking font.

Thanks, will do. Now, how do I get the number off the Lionel shell without ruining the paint job?

@ConducTTor: It's up to you if you want to try it or not! Airbrush the area(s) in question after masking, with a matching paint color then after it dried use dry transfer

Well I'll be, I thought Tom was pulling your leg but I just tried it on a scrap shell and it works.
