I have never bought there, so I can't tell you sth. about credit card payment. But maybe I can help you anyway.

At first you should read these sub-sites:

http://www.modellbahn-discount.de/50159 ... 7fe01.html (terms of shipment)
http://www.modellbahn-discount.de/agb.html (terms of trade)
http://www.modellbahn-discount.de/impressum.html (contact and bank connection)

I.e. new customers must pay before shipping (shipping costs 20 Euro min.)! For the most (HTML) content you can use a web translator. It may help you.

Okay, then browse the shop and make your choice, set the quantity of models you want in the field "Anzahl:" and click the button "In den Warenkorb" to add it to your basket. If you want to check your basket, click the second button on the left "Warenkorb anzeigen". After all go to checkout by clicking the third button on the left "Zur Kasse gehen". Then make your decisions (shipping, payment modalities etc.) and confirm with "Weiter" if needed. At last a pop up window opens, in that you've to add your personal data and finaly confirm your order. That's it.

thanks for the info. this place seems to have very good info on there products, and what i like best is they tell you if a loco is dcc ready and which system fits the loco. most other sites leave you guessing.

I thought I sent those guys an email and indeed they responded. Shipping isn't cheap but it appears they wave the VAT tax (roughly 19% of the item cost):

"Versandkosten in die USA betragen ab 50,-€, abhängig vom Gewicht des Paketes. Es ist auch ohne Mehrwertsteuer möglich."

Google's translation:

Returns to the U.S. amount to from 50, - €, depending on the weight of the package. It is possible even without a tax.

A set of etched tuning parts for the nice GC 40' boxcars and several 48' containers by Waggonbau Schwaetzer are available here: http://www.siggis-modellbahn-shop.de/sc ... /index.htm

Schwaetzer itself has no website.

It's a german webside but not only german producers are listed there. The use of a website translator in this case is not realy useful.

Added thank you.
