Laser Printing - White Decals

Laser Printing - White Decals

Postby Richard-B » Sat Nov 23, 2013 10:12 pm

Charles Hostetler in Goshen, Indiana has been blogging about his efforts to ramp-up the capability for laser-printing white decals on his OKI laser printer. This system converts a high-end OKI from CYMK mode to "WWWK" (or KWWW?) using 3 cartridge assemblies with white toner. The unique physical configuration of the OKI cartridges makes this possible.

Today... he mentioned his initial efforts in TT Scale!:

I will be looking in my mailbox SOON!!!

For the entire story... and an excellent analysis of this capability, his previous blog posts are:

I heard that this Richard Brennan guy, mentioned in that article, did the artwork for the Southern Pacific SW1200's too. Sure does get around.
