From 2001 to 2006 Israel Railways bought 147 Görlitz-built double-decker cars. 31 of them were cab cars. These double-decker cars can be kitbashed from Tillig double-deckers.

Any idea what the changes of the control car are?

There are two diesel generators (2x 250KW) for the climate aggregates in the train. And also a air compressor with air dryer. The locomotive has not enough power.

Here some pics.

And have an eye on the entrace. The Israeli cab cars have high entraces while all other double-decker cab cars made in Görlitz have low-floor entraces.

By the way: Do the locomotives provide head-end power at all?
