Industrial fittings

Postby Rich B » Mon Jun 08, 2015 8:28 am

Hi all,

Having just about finished college for the year, work has recommenced on Stromallee. I'm making a tank wagon unloading point using Knightwing pipes and fitting (the same mouldings as Cornerstone sell), but the joints really don't look prototypical, nothing like a typical flange connector. With a view to modelling in general, I was wondering if other members could recommend parts they've used for TT modelling to represent industrial fittings- pipes, vents, plant etc.

Cheers

Rich

Thanks Richard, the plastruct parts look like what I'm after. Like I say, the Knightwing (UK) piping is the same as the Walther's stuff- as such I suspect it's made by Heljan. It's a tired tooling, a bit knobbly with prominent mould lines. I've built some up as a placeholder but I'll go to a Plastruct dealer and see if their parts are better.
