Nice side frames, but expensive. 44.48€ per pair :o It comes the time for an own SLA 3D printer for 500 bucks.

More expensive than Shitways for sure. But you get what you pay for. I stopped buying Shitways garbage material years ago.

What chassis are you using under the U-boat?

GP9 detail improvements

Nothing permanent. Just had some random materials put together to test with. Due to health the U Boat is on hold indefinitely.

The MTB sw1200 towers and wheels are a pretty close match though so that's the running gear. Used a mashima motor.

OK thanks for info. I have a spare pair of MTB trucks and Mashima motors so, have ordered U boat. Probably end up another post retirement project.

I did not realize that those were the parts used with the U-boat project.

Perhaps I should try my own project diesel loco this year.

You forgot to order the truck sideframes ;) they're made specifically to attach to the MTB towers.

BTW, I only recently made the U Boat parts available (but didn't advertise it). I figured since I don't know when I'll be able to continue the project, may as well make it available for others

So you have been holding out on us, huh?

Can you provide a link and list of materials for the U-boat project?
