GP-38/2 Decals

GP-38/2 Decals

Postby TiTan downunder » Sun Mar 29, 2015 6:27 pm

Is anybody interested in getting decals for their GP-38/2's? I am currently getting sets organised for Milwaukee, BN & Frisco road names. These are ALPS printed decals - very fine - VERY clear & readable. Each set will have 3 number options and do 1 + 1/2 loco's = 1 spare name, logo & number in case you tear one. Other roads name could be possible, depending on number of requests.

I'm interested in BN and Milwaukee. If possible - Rock Island, SP and, SOO.

I have just received the draft copies - he works fast, too fast sometimes. Each set will only do the one loco - no spares as originally planned so, I'll just supply 2 sets of each. All sets come with pre-set numbers - no jumbles to do your own number.

BN set will do #'s 2079, 2084 & 2087 - Cascade Green scheme - from the original batch ordered by SP&S pre merger.

Milw set will do # 355, 358, 364.

Frisco set is # 400, 405, 416, 426 & 441. Also includes caboose set to do A&D's bay window caboose # 1726, 1732 & 1734.

BN & Milw sets will be $7.00 . Frisco $ 8.00 Postage is $2.00 by air mail letter rate

Prices are in Australian dollars. Payment by Paypal is probably the easiest - ntrains@gmail.com

I'll ask about the Rock Is, SP & Soo. What road numbers would you like? Just need to find good photos. He has one of my body shells so can scale everything to fit.

If possible - Rock Island, SP and, SOO.

Do you want the SOO in the original red lettering or the later black?

SOO - black lettering.
I have no particular numbers that I want. Anything that existed and is appropriate to the model will do. Thanks!

Ian - It's great that you're doing decals! Chalk me up as another customer for SP, and like Alex, any road numbers that are appropriate to the model will do.

For the Milw sets.....the $7.00 includes 2 sets?? (enough to do 2 locomotives?) Do the decals include the black Milwaukee roadname and the red Milwaukee herald with white lettering?

Ian are these ready to go? In other words, should I go ahead and send $$?
