Dave and Company,

Here's a few pictures for comparison. The tank car is from Zeuke. The Fox Valley wheels are on the left.

The Fox Valley truck mounted in the Zeuke truck. Note the difference in the tire flange.

My opinion is that the Fox Valley are much more prototypical looking with their flanges than either of the Zeuke or Gold Coast wheel sets. I think it would be a great idea to patronize Fox Valley so they would keep making TT scale wheel sets available. The Fox Valley wheels represent 33" wheels. It would be nice if Fox Valley expanded their line to 26" or 28" and 36" wheels.

Specs on the Fox Valley wheels. Axel size between wheels = .069" Axel ends with the points = .0455" Over all width = 0.716"

If FV made 36" wheels I would buy a TON of them. Already bought a few 33" but they have limited use on the models I have.

"Here's a few pictures for comparison."

Bernd, Thanks for the photos. The fox valley wheels look great,as small or smaller flanges than HP wheels. I think Fox valley could sell a lot of them if they maintain them in stock. I've used their N scale wheels for years and find they make a big improvement in looks( btw, they do make 36 inch wheels for N scale)....DaveB

Well I'm confused now. The box is marked Zeuke where the tank car came in. Would you straighten me out on this confusion? :wtf:

Zeuke-TT is the contractee (similiar like SAZ-Model with the switchers) and MTB the producer. It is sold under the name Zeuke-TT.

I would say both distributor (for US/NA) & dealer (for EU)...
similiar like SAZ-Model with the switchers
For the initial switcher production runs in NA...
and MTB the producer.
...who also sells direct! ...on the Web and at shows.
It is sold under the name Zeuke-TT.
In many (but not all) cases...

Where do you find a copy of the standards for TT in modelling the North American scene. Is there a standard under the NMRA standards if there is I will not be so lazy as to ask and will dig it out myself.

Hi Al,
There are, if you check out the NMRA Standards and Recommended Practices page
https://www.nmra.org/index-nmra-standar ... -practices
and pick a section the TT is usually listed. For example under S-4.2 "Wheels Standard Scale" there's a chart with all the dimensions, TT is listed. You may have to dig just a little!

Here is a TT-specific standards summary... extracted from the NMRA documents:
NMRA TT-scale.pdf

It was created in 2009... so may need verification for any recent changes.
