German hoppers in Uruguay?

German hoppers in Uruguay?

Postby scaro » Thu Jan 07, 2010 12:26 pm

One thing I am wondering is if anyone knows if these wagons are done in TT? Admittedly the pics aren't great but they seem from the shape and the bogie, to be German bogie hoppers of some sort, apparently used to carry clinker. Not sure how/when they ended up in Uruguay.

The locomotive looks like it could be a Czech built T444 or one of its variants.

A kit to build one is available from DK-model: http://www.dk-model.cz/galerie/0087.html

Upon further inspection of the picture in the second link, it is not the wagon I posted.

The diesels are Alsthom I believe. They do look rather like the Czech one though.

I think the clinker hoppers might be bashable from the one you pictured, TTConductor.

St Augustine, stop me changing prototype, but not yet . . .
