Hi Bill, The compromise sounds good, thanks. I can adapt to whatever thickness you decide on, I can shim or sand down if necessary.

What a wonderful invention, we can avoid those unsightly connectors...that's the idea, right?

True. They can also be used at the ends of modules for track alignment.

So, these Gapmasters are now available for those who want them. Pretty slick. I kind of want to rip up the tracks I've laid and insert them. Perhaps going forward will be enough.
