JP has said everything.

Also in the steam time? I think, there were a second connection. If one turnout broken, you have a second one to reach the turntable.

Btw, it looks like a rabbit hole (burrow) with the amount of tunnel portals.

Sorry for the many tunel portals, I cannot use very well yet the CAD program. I use it just for calculation of the gradients and the curves (min. radius).

We made some progress on the layout ( the etched parts arrived and also the servos for the turnout controls. The feedback switches are not here yet ( should arrive tomorrow) and will be added later to each turnout to generate signals about their actual position.

The loader is a free replica of the similar building in Myanmar at Wallah Gorge

This part of the layout us the hidden station so we could mount the parts on the surface.

(I do not know why are the pictures rotated by 90 degrees  ).

It is not finished yet. Some etched parts are not done yet and the windows need some adjustment.

Nice looking coal dock. And those loops in the turnouts is interesting.

Bernd

Thank you. It is not for coal, rather for ore or some kind of stone from the mine before final processing. The stone is crushed and sorted in the original building ( 4-5 times longer than the model ) and loaded into the ore cars to transport into the main factory. (6-7 km appart but about 600 m lower.)

Those look really nice, very smooth and flowing, and intricate, especially the 3-way turnouts
I can see where they will fit in your trackplan. Are they self-made?

And for technical data, what is the rail size and frog number?

Thank you. They are completelly hand made by my friend. The follow the Tillig EW2 geometry ( it was my wish) with improvemets in detail like sprung rails, tighter guard rails and frogs following the corresponding standards.
