My Climax is a H0 engine, however it is very small, slightly bigger than the TT locomotives.

Ah, HO gauge. The Class A HOn3 might be very close to TT scale.

I have similar Climaxes from MDC. One is working quite well, the second one was one of the latest models of MDC and the new motor is very weak. So this locomotive does not work very well.

I have two of the MDC Climax's. I haven't put them together. North West Short Line makes a replacement gear for those kits.

Who made your Class A engine?

Sanko is the builder, a Japanese company. North West Short Line imported and sold the engines back in 1972 for $80.

Do you know this web: http://www.gearedsteam.com
There is many useful information.

Yes, I know of the web site. Have visited there many times. I also have books on those engines.

The gas station is almost ready. It is a free lance model based on gas stations from the middle of last century.

All you need now is a gas tanker parked there!

It is comming, unfortunately in our scale I have to make almost everything alone, as there is nothing really close to the era of my layout. I need also some extinguisher, some tyres I have already and lot of small things like buckets, airpump and of course some vendor machines for drinks etc.
Also the roof is crying for some details.... :-)

Potain crane

The construction of the Potain Igo 18 crane in TT. The drawing behind is not to scale.
The horizontal folding arms will be etched. The crane will rotate (I hope) at the factory demolition scene.

It is one of the smallest crane used today. Unfortunately the cranes from ~1950 were very complicated to build (grid construction, often the smaller top part was sliding into the wider bottom part etc.) I was searching all available sources to find something simpler from that time. A friend of our family was that time a crane operator and I spent lot of time with him, so originally I wanted to built that crane as a memory for him, but it was too complex and filigran to build.
Now I am just drawing the artwork for the arms.
