Hi Mysha,

Here are the instructions for using the grab iron jig. Sorry for the confusion, they were posted in another thread.

Grab iron jig instructions:

Start by cutting some wire to fit into the groove. The length of the groove is set so it's about the minimum length that can be used. Any shorter and the wire won't bend correctly.

Hold the plunger in place and give it a smack with a hammer or another piece of wood.

Pull out the plunger and then the grab iron. These jigs don't make a perfect 90 degree bend so you will need to finish bending them a bit. For the stirup you will need to make a second bend with a pair of plyers.

I've read through most of this thread and I may have missed it. Was an applicable Pennsylvania RR decal set ever located for the G31 gondola :?:

milwrd1; sorry I can't help there. I would imagine microscale has some type of PRR N scale decals that might work.

Marquette; yes, I will be running some more of these towards the end of the month.

I have the artwork ready for 3 different PRR numbers.
It just takes some time to fill the entire page with various decals. Are you in a hurry for it?
The car number, blt date, and reweigh can be changed according to your wish. If I made some errors in it, please let me know.

Besides the G31s, I have artwork ready also for GLD hoppers, X23 boxcar and now I work on 8000 gallons tank cars, two SHPX are ready. I promised also Belcher Oil tank car, but that requires more colors and it will come on my next sheet together with yellow UTLX decals.

If you (and/or others) are interested in the decals, I can easily just copy and paste and fill the sheet.
It was not intended for sale because of the world's highest postage of Post Denmark which efficiently kills any attempts for iternational sales from here.
But if we can agree which decals would be interesting for you, I can fill the sheet by addinng extra copies for you and send the artwork for printing on ALPS. Then the decals could be either sent the expensive way from here ($6 postage) as soon as they get printed or much cheaper way by USPS if you can wait until April.
