The left is MT-50. If I am not mistaken, it is the same truck as I showed on the photo of the green boxcar.
The flatcar with the same trucks:

Look at the prototype:

I do not know exactly, but I suppose no. Peresvet produces several types of trucks, that's enough.
However TT-model produces their own trucks, but they are German ones, it is not correct to use them on Russian coaches (although they do it)

If yes, we could use Peresvet trucks for American stuff, not only Gold Coast ones...

Tahoe Model Works makes a truck that looks similar to the Russian one except for the excessive boxiness right over the journals. Model # TMW-108/208

Here is a web page, just scroll down to the appropriate truck.

Also, There is a Bettendorf truck that has one leaf and one coil spring. The leaf spring was supposed to provide a smoother, more stable ride at higher speeds. Usage 1940s-70s. Tichy makes one in HO (Part # 293-3050). The PRR called these trucks 2D-F12 50 Ton trucks.

I still think the Russian truck looks closer to a Vulcan than to that - see the 'ears' that hang out to either side of the journal boxes? That's the distinctive feature of the Vulcan, too. If one really wants, one could do a bit of filing to give more of a curve to the sideframe to better match the Vulcan, but the important distinctive feature is already present.

But notice the leaf spring in the middle.
Maybe it is "coil-elliptcic" truck?

But looking at your photos of G31 gonnolas I think the right one Peresvet's truck (18-100 type, TSNII-H3-O) is better. Am I wrong?

I guess you could remove the "ears" for a coil elliptic, and remove the leaf spring for a Vulcan... :P

oh, sorry, i missed the elliptical spring on the plan. i thought it was a straight two-coil spring truck as used in australia and other countries.

Can anybody help me with Western Pacific and/or Sacramento Northern lettering schemas?
I started to assemble my gondola only now (yes, I am a slowpoke  ) and I need some leterring schema with yellow letters for my decals, not white.

I've found some photos of the H0 scale WP gondolas but can not discern some letters...

http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/wp/wp.html

look at the GB and GS shots.

i'm no expert but a bit of a WP fan, i think this is probably typical: http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/wp/wp09214rsa.jpg

here also: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/rslist ... d=WP&cid=6

some history of WP gondolas here, including their 29' mill gondolas which would make an interesting and space saving prototype.

WP / SN - G-31 clones

Note: Ask any TT modeler who lives within 4km of the old WP line!!!

Yes, I mean the second one! Can you make it a bit bigger, maybe twice or better four times bigger?
I can't see the small letters...

This WP schema is nice, but I can not print white letters, only yellow or any other color.
So, I mean something like this one:
