Do you guys remember your first model train? Do you still have it? For me it was TT from the beggining. Here it is from a BTTB start set (about 27 years old - it still runs!!!):

My first train set was an approximately O-gauge train set that had a black 0-6-0 with red wheels, tender, blue B&M Gondola, and an ATSF Caboose with a 111" circle of track. I literally wore that train out over the course of a decade, and for how cheap it was, the engine put up with my mother's drunken fits rather well.

When I was at a train show a few years ago, I found an identical train for $5, so I bought it and it remains on display (I run it now and again, and Terry loves it).

Yes I do. It was a Canadian National F unit in zebra stripe and orange front paint scheme. I still have it in a box at my folks in some state of disrepair. The real ones were still in service when I was a kid. I miss them. My first TT locomotives are pictured under this topic: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=185

@ CSD, the BR 92 was the second one I had. No idea what happened to it. The only thing left is the weight the top of which is the coal in the tender. :(

Too bad. That one is a great little engine. Always liked its boxy shape.
