Fair Leipzig October 2015

Hi TT fans,

Yesterday I was at the fair in Leipzig and spoke with MTB, Lok-n-Roll and some other companies. This is one of the biggest model fairs in Germany with about 100.000 expected visitors

A short overview what was new on the fair, without being complete and being limited to TT:
    MTB, the E499.1056 in TT
Lok-n-Roll, the Muncie cars and some 0-6-0 steam locomotive switchers
    Roco, V100/BR110
    Piko, VT98
Kuehn, a special hopper and the curve switches are almost ready

I spent around an hour at the Lok-n-Roll stand. They offer a lot of different US models, so that visitors have a good choice. I saw a lot of visitors with happy faces seeing all these different freight cars in so many colors. And Mike had several 0-6-0 steam locomotives running with his new Munchie boxcars. Compliments to Mike and his crew.

Are 0-6-0s HP models? A lot of nice paint jobs on various models!

HP made 0-6-0 too, but the engine on the picture is not HP.

Hi guys,

Ths switcher is build by Mike and he had 4 or 5 running on his stand. By the look of it, I think it is a soldered copper kit. Perhaps MACG can give an answer what kind of kit it is or write an email to Mike.

If he still has one left, he will be happy to sell it to you. Most important, the loco runs well.

The 0-6-0 switcher is a former model from A&K Modelle (Christian Kuehr). Lok-n-Roll (Mike) has now the rights to build kits and locomotives. The chassis is from PMT. He has actual five switchers. The lettering is matching chosen to the wooden box cars series (SP, ATSF, CN and two variants of D&RGW). He offers the model for 350€.

I hope that a kit and undecorated version come later...

I don't know, if he offer a kit. You can order a model with your prefered railroad company. A undecorated model is also possible, I think. Contact him easy.

Lok-n-Roll is willing to offer a kit of the 0-6-0 switcher.

Here are two of the RTR-models:
