Haha cute :) A thought I just had, be mindful of derailments with your expensive models.

Imagine how much cholesterol such as large egg would have in 1:1 scale, ratioed like that.

Heh. A major feast for TT-stomachs.

If I had listened to the advice from this board, the egg would fit under the clearance (the lower track eventually goes under the upper track). However the trains would have a steeper grade to negotiate then.

Well Alex, this train has already hit the floor about 50 times. However the floor is only 6" down (this is a roll under-the-bed layout). So I've given up. This particular locomotive and cars are being sacrificed to the child in the house. It's TRULY incredible that the couplers still even work. They don't derail much on their own, just from being jolted by humans.

Never mind that, how many egg salad sandwiches would that make in TT scale?

Because it's 3-dimensional, it would be 1203-fold for the prototype.
So this egg is worth 1,728,000 TT scale eggs...

Next Easter try to use just onion to paint eggs!
Just put onion's dry skin in the water when you boil the eggs and you'll get the yellow, red or brown eggs! (Depends on time when you take them out of the water).
