That is why we should follow the NMRA standard to avoid problems like this.

I think, it is the track and the tank car. The track is a little bit twisted after each about 11 cm. Thus the cars wiggle laterally. I will also check it with a RailTT flat car and a tank car.

Supplement: Our first exhibition layout, shown in the first posting, was demolished (back built). Because of lack of a buyer. :( The three switches at the mainline were soldered in a fixed position, for smoothly run. That was a mistake for a later sale.
