And now our first signal, a replica of an old white metal kit from Nielsen.

Sexyness! If possible can you post more pictures of the layout (I know you've posted some before)?

AW: Exhibition layout

What I really like on this layout is the very skilled use of cardstock structures. This demonstrates to all TT modellers interested in US prototype that using scaled down cardstock kits from bigger scales is a great way to get some US style structures for your layout.

I almost missed that thread.
Nice layout Taxari, well done. I like the whole atmosphere, it's not overcrowded.
Could you please describe your technique for making the road, it looks very realistic.
I don't see any runaround track, adding one should improve the switching possibilities.

There is a round track. I attached the track plan. But there is no switching possibilities with it. The three switches at the round track are without function, to improve the stable exhibition run.

When I remember right, he has painted the road with a brush in dark grey and then he has used a airbrush for the completion.

The next exhibitions with this layout are on 1. and 2. September in Leuna/Germany und in Leipzig/Germany from 5. to 7. October.
