Remember to use a TT-scale telephone.

I'm not yet in China but already asked one of my chinese partners to do some inquiries on these models. Fact is that these models are not made for private collectors. The business idea of that company is to sell models to the manufacturers of the prototypes to be used as advertising items and business gifts. The models are only made on demand. Minimum quantity is 1000 pieces per order.

Thank you.
This means that we have to contact the manufacturers of the prototypes to get the models :)
I can try to send some e-mails.

I'm now in Beijing and will see whether I can find anything in TT scale. Unfortunately, we have heavy smog, so it's not a joy to walk around outside.

I found shops that sell railway models on the two sites of the China Railway Museum in Beijing. However, there is no TT scale, just H0, N, and some 0.

No surprise there. What kind of models do they stock? Chinese/American/European?

Most of the stuff was Chinese. In another shop, I also found a few American freight cars. The Chinese models are mainly high speed trains. Most of them are sold together with a matching vitrine, so I assume they are rather meant for collectors. There were also a few Chinese 0 scale steamers.

A place really worth to visit in Beijing is the China Railway Museum. They have one of the largest collections of steam engines worldwide. It exceeds everything I've seen in Europe and the US, however.

That is a rather impressive collection of 1:1 scale steamers!
