Just uploaded two new photos showing the SW1200 on the exhibition diorama.

Recently, I made a B&W version of one of the older photos of that diorama. Sometimes, there is a photo of which the B&W version looks much better than the original color pic. This is a typical example.

Wow, looks just like an actual period picture. Oh to have those modeling skills... Very nice Joern.

I have to credit YOU with the inspiration for my TT-Tracks modules under construction for the August NTS in Portland!

I looked at your New York scene... and asked myself; "What would the California equivalent be?"
The answer is: Low-rise industrial, and NO brick... (This is earthquake country...)

Good suggestion! If I had a publisher interested, I would love doing it.

Looking forward to see photos of your finished modules. They are much bigger than my small diorama, however. While the structures look different, I always love model railroad scenes in an urban/industrial environment.

Thank you! However, modifying this older photo was my only modeling activity after having returned home from California. In the meantime, I gave a course in Romania, and next month, I will go teaching to China. So, there will hardly be any time for much more than a few photo shoots.

I will. That's really interesting. Never heard they make stuff in TT scale.
