That's a neat idea. I have a soldering iron that I'm not very enamoured with, once I have some peho couplings I'll give that method a go. I have enough old wagons that if I mess a couple of attempts up the loss won't be troublesome.

Hi MacG,

This is the idea yes.

I have tried to reproduce the printout in the following picture. It gives the basic idea of how to cut it ... I guess it is a matter doing a bit of testing to get a feel for it :)
