A couple of these arrived just after Christmas...

(Including wheel/power pickups and power pack - http://www.esu.eu/en/products/interior- ... powerpack/).

Last night I mustered up the courage to crack open one of the passenger cars to see if I could get them to work and blow me down again, plug and pray this DCC stuff is.

Neat little package, with options to cut to desired length and so many lighting effects options it's ridiculous.
English version of the manual can be found here http://www.esu.eu/en/downloads/instruct ... ting-sets/.

Only little issue when programming CV's, you can't read them, unless...
"Connect to AUX1 a load of 60mA to 100mA , in order to read CVs!".... Say whaaaaaat?!

Not a big deal I suppose, managed to make the changes necessary using the PowerCab. Yay!

Still having some consistency/drop-out issues, but I'm yet to install the powerpack which should hold it through any interruptions.

Cheers,
H

Installed the PowerPack last night, to mitigate against power interruptions and it didn't seem to work AT ALL. :(
Tried the other one (they come in pack of 2) and it sort of worked. The tail lights would stay on for a few seconds then dim out, but the interior LEDs would go out straight away.
