Ebay Germany?

Ebay Germany?

Postby ConducTTor » Tue Dec 15, 2009 11:54 pm

Just out of curiosity, how many of you shop on www.Ebay.de for TT items? For those who do or want to, I have a list of roughly 90 German users who accept PayPal ( a lot of Germans accept only wires which your local bank will charge about $45 for) and will ship to the US for a reasonable amount. Let me know if you want it.

I take a look from time to time. I spent about a hundred on a large lot of tracks and engines from one guy once, only to have to post office here in Groton misplace it. (Stuffed in a back room at the local branch is where it was found - open.)

I check it out from time to time. There is an option in the search to only show items for which PayPal is accepted. Most German sellers will ship to Canada, but the minimum shipping charges vary greatly (from 8 Euro to 42 Euro). Figuring those prices into the total cost of item, especially when bidding on the multiple pieces, and losing some of them, it's only a worthwhile exercise if you are really after a certain piece.
