HP detailing parts

Postby TiTan downunder » Tue Jan 16, 2018 4:00 am

Through the generosity of an friend I've obtained 1 x ea of the late John Fisher's boilers/cabs/cylinder blocks for the Mikado, Northern, Texas and articulated loco's.

What I would like to know is where I should look for the necessary detailing parts to complete at least the Mikado and Northern. I know PSC have a HUGE range of parts but, are any of these useful for TT ???

I have a small assortment of detail parts, but I think that most of them are for the smaller HP steamers such as the Consolidation and the Atlantic.

As it stands right now, I am digging stuff out for an upcoming train show, and getting ready for more in the near-term as well.

If I find any parts that would fit the bill, I will let you know.

Thank you. I think this will be another one of those 5 year projects and not as if I don't already have enough in the cupboard(s) and on the workbench to finish.

Oh, I understand that quite nicely. I am just now starting to clear out projects from 10 years ago in TT scale!
