Decoders for Tiilig undermounted points motor

Decoders for Tiilig undermounted points motor

Postby Surovi » Tue Feb 06, 2018 1:10 pm

Hi!
Which decoders I can use to control https://www.tillig.com/eng/Produkte/pro ... 86112.html ?
I have a Roco z21 start.

This is one option https://www.modellbahnshop-lippe.com/pr ... odukt.html

It can control two items at the same time but I don`t need that...or do I?

Attention, the Uhlenbrock MD-2 (67 200) is a magnetic item decoder. Good for the Tillig switch machine (EW1 turnout controller) 83531 or 83532 . Tillig recommends Lenz Decoder LS100 with adaptor LA010. See page 4 at the Tillig 86112 - Undermounted points operating motor.

From Uhlenbrock the decoder SD-2 (67 600) could be work with motor switch machines or the Qdecoder Z2-8+.

Back to your Question: With it, you can also control two turnouts at different times. Or have you only one turnout?

You can use most of the accessory decoders, like the Uhlenbrock, or WX10 from Tran.
All these accessory decoders have multiple outputs, ie a single decoder can control several switch motors or different switchmotors ( like servos).

Well...recommendation for the MD-2 I got from Tillig, and recommendation for the SD-1 I got from Uhlenbrock  no one mentioned SD-2
I asked about Lenz or Digikeijs but....
I will have 7 turnouts and one uncupling track.

As mentioned before, almost each manufacturer has accessory decoders. There are two many to list each.
I just mentioned the WX-10 from http://www.tran.at I have some experiences, they have a new version with 4 relays on the board offering drive and polarisation for 4 switches.

The schematics for a cheap motor switch adaptor like Lenz LA010 you can get here. My recommendation for Lenz and Qdecoder I have already posted.

What about Lenz LS 150?
http://www.lenzusa.com/1newsite1/Manuals/LS150.pdf

Look at page 14 of 16:
https://vasutmodell.com/pics/tt-tillig- ... 338458.pdf

LS 150 is recommended.
