Decals

Postby TiTan downunder » Fri Jun 21, 2019 5:31 am

Just noticed a huge " HUGE " new listing of TT decals on ebay from seller k4_pacific.
Does most other scales and, I guess, has decided or been asked to add TT to his range. Anybody had any dealings with this seller before?

I have sent him a message asking if he could specify the cars in his adds. That would save us a lot of time and he could possibly sell more. He probably knows what was the prototype, but I cannot see it directly from the road number, I would have to search the internet and/or some books.
With that minor problem solved, it would be a good reference example for me and I could make my decal sheets in a similar way (not the same ones as he does, of course).

He has an interesting number of decals. Unfortunately, eBay search doesn't work properly on his shop page.

They are US TT decals. Didn't have any problem with the search.
JP / If you click on each decal it shows a lettering diagram for the basic car type.
Have ordered a few sets to see what they are like. Should be here in a couple of weeks depending on the post.

Set your e-bay to "shipping to US".

Many of the decals are for cars which are not available in TT.
But you can ask him to modify the decals for your use (AAR 1937 40' boxcar).

@j p: There is no such option. I entered it here. https://www.ebay.com/str/K4-Supply-Company It doesn't work also without being logged in.

I used the "advanced search" on Ebay's home page and it came up with 218 decals.

The 218 decals I can only find in his TT Scale shop category.

No problem. I just have to sift through all the articles.

I have the same problem if I choose my shipping address as Russia.
Use this trick: go to the Ebay.com and click any item you like. Then go to the "shipping and payment" and choose the United States ("Change country"). (However, if I choose France or Germany, I can see all his items too).
Then you will see all his items for sale as if you were in the USA. But be careful: if you decide to buy something don't forget to set the correct address!
