DCC motor noise

Ok, I took everything out of the circuit board between the chip and motor. So, dcc --> motor. Still the same problem. I also tried calling ESU tech support today but got a busy signal all day long. Starting to get frustrated with this

I can't get anyone from ESU to answer or return my calls. Very unprofessional.....

Sounds like it is time to smash the board and burn it at the stake!

Strange. They have been very helpful with me. Have you tried posting in their online forum?

After two and a half days on the ESU forum, not a single response. This will be the first and last LokSound I buy.

Perhaps the ESU LokSound should be put in the "Do Not Buy" column...

My blame so far centers on ESU's tech support. Correction: My blame so far centers on the absence of tech support at ESU.

I strongly disagree!

I just called ESU and they are short staffed as most of their crew is at the Milwaukee train show until July 21st. Call the guys at DCCtrain. They were able to give me some tips and when they did not pan out they provided a contact at ESU.

A guy on the ESU forums gave a suggestion last night (shut off the back emf) and it worked. I know I tried this before and it had no effect but it was probably before I removed the inline caps. yay!
