Chris' Diesels and other models

The first package (of 3) has arrived. All the models look like they had a hard time. Most of them need repairs.
(You can compare them with the pictures on page1 of this topic)
Chris used MTL couplers. That is good for me. Unfortunately, many of the couplers are broken and need to be replaced.
The Shay needs repair and replacement of some lost parts.
The Alco FAs have some improved power pickups on the trucks - and also need repair.
One of the boxes contained a DD35 kit. Hmm... John Harmon told me how rare they were and now I have two.
The poor HP switcher looks like it got some serious beating.
I am happy for the models, all the blue HP surprise boxes contained good surprises - assembled kits, many of them heavily weathered.

I'm glad the models are finding a good home. Hopefully there isn't too much damage in the next 2 packages.

Can somebody tell something about the vehicles at "p12"?

Chris explained it on page 2 of this topic. Those are Triang diesels.

The 2nd and 3rd packages arrived.
The HP 2-8-0 with all-weather cab did not survive. The modifications of the cab were made out of paper.... The screw connecting the tender to the engine was teared off the tender's frame! I have to make a new all-weather cab.
Almost all of the hand made models are damaged. The coal trucks cannot be saved, the trailers can.
The narrow gauge steam engine seems to be OK, only its coupler is broken. Couplers are broken on most of the rolling stock. That does not happen by itself and it could not be caused by the post. They were wrapped quite OK in bubble wrap.
It looks like they took everything from the layout and thrown it from the layout's height into the boxes which were on the floor.
That was probably caused by the people emptying the house, not the auction house fault.
It was worth the money, but it is a very sad view on those mistreated models.

Here are the pictures of the rest.
