I *believe* (correct me if I'm wrong) people in China find cheese disgusting.

Cheese is only available in China at like, Metro stores (a European chain which is only in big cities) and at bigger Wal-Marts... never saw any anywhere else. I had to travel 120 km each way to get cheese. Needless to say I stocked up.

What is there on chicken feet that is digestible? I always thought they were just made up of skin, bones, cartilage and tendons. Wings, on the other hand, at least have some meat on them...

Skin is digestible, bone has marrow in, which is also delicious... on a roasted pig the ears and snout are a special tasty treat!

the gristle and tendon is gelatinous and extremely tasty, as is the skin, which is thick down there. all up, there's a bit there to eat. you just spit out the bones as you go.

here in England they have rediscovered roasted pigs ears. i'd only had them in Malaysia, but they are wonderful with pints of real cider ... a pub I know down on the kent coast has started serving them. i think my cousins would be even more disgusted with that. but with population pressures, I think we will be eating more of the animal in future.

some things, like andouillette, may be a challenge. you can lie about what certain bits of meat are, but with andouillette, the smell tends to give it away. but oh my, is it tasty.

Concur wholeheartedly - and this is in the better case scenario. In the worse case, Monsanto wins and we'll all be eating only synthetic chicken breast and corn that has never seen earth...

This is part of why we have our own little farm. We are getting a couple of quarts of fresh strawberries each day so far for the past month, and the small garden is going smoothly so far.
