Chapman GP7 Project

I have probably reread all 38 pages of this project about 5 times already.
I sure would like to see the chassis part of this project finished for an example of how to build one.
The knowledge learned then could be applied to other models.
Building a chassis seems to be more difficult for most of us; compared to buying, 3D printing, or
resin casting a shell for a locomotive.

Kind regards,
Robert B

That is correct. You can also check the RTR models, how many different constructions are on the market. It seems that even for the professional model-makers the chassis construction create many headaches, and not all of them are optimal for model layouts.
There are some basic mechanical challenges and also the correct understanding the physics of the small models, the drive chain and the layout. That is also the reason I tried to help Brian to make the construction better.
Lets hope that the model will perform well on the first tests.
