Postby ConducTTor » Fri May 31, 2013 5:28 pm

I may be able to source some BR 218 chassis - everything but the shell. Is anyone interested in these for conversions (Ill be using them for Elmer's FA and FB)? Let me know asap.

How many and would you be able to PayPal me the $ right away?

Price-wise, I'm trying to get a total count first so I can bargain.

I guess I should give at least a ballpark on cost. The starting point should be about $70 (+ shipping from my house to yours) and I'll bargain down from that.

What is the make of the chassis, and are they complete, aside from the shells (will they run)? Are dimensions available?

We are trying to decide on how many right now. We still have some work to go for the NMRA convention in July, so we have to prioritize purchases.

It's a Tillig BR 218. Just do a search, it's been discussed many times. It's a fully working chassis (as far as I know). No body shell, original box or the extra parts and paperwork.

I'm buying 3 for myself but there are 5 or 6 more available so I figured I'd post.

Angry I need a solid answer - did you want one or not? Need to know right away - sending payment tonight.

Apparently bargaining is not going to happen - $70 a piece.
